Dr. Emmott is excited to be at Optimum Health -- at the forefront of the lifestyle medicine movement. A former All-American collegiate athlete, Dr. Emmott believes passionately in the effects of overall wellness and fitness on disease prevention and management. He is responsible for overseeing the Optimum Health program, to assure that it meets or exceeds all medical guidelines and standards. He is also in charge of Optimum Health's growth and development.

Dr. Emmott has had a private practice in Burlingame, California, since 1980. He has treated patients with malignancies of the prostate and kidneys. He also provides general urologic care. He received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He completed his surgical and urologic training at the University of California at San Francisco. He also completed further postgraduate training through the National Cancer Institute and John Hopkins Medical Center in Maryland.
