Jennifer has worked in the health and fitness industry for 16 years. Over the past 4 years, she has worked at Western Athletic Clubs, directing the health-fitness departments at Decathlon Club and three San Francisco-based clubs, including The Bay Club. She is also the director of continuing education for Western Athletic Clubs. And she serves as adjunct faculty at the University of San Francisco's Exercise and Sport Science Department.
As program director for Optimum Health, Jennifer is responsible for managing each client's team of experts. She works with you and the physician to determine the best combination of services to create your ideal program. Then she continually evaluates your progress to ensure that you remain on track. Jennifer's extensive background in health care and weight loss give her the ability to understand the challenges involved in making substantial lifestyle changes. And her experience has also given her the tools to help you be successful.
Jennifer's previous experience includes cardiac rehabilitation at Creighton University Cardiac Center and pediatric endocrinology/diabetes at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She served as fitness and wellness director at Native American Health Center, the University of California at Irvine, and Arizona State University. She was also adjunct faculty at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
Jennifer received her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Creighton University. She earned a master's degree in exercise and wellness from Arizona State University. And she is continuing her education with the 2008 Gray Institute for Functional Transformation fellowship program.
Jennifer is certified by the American Council on Exercise, National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Currently she is working toward certification as a clinical exercise specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. |
